A Stylized water buffalo neckerchief slide, seems like this would be an easy slide to carve, a tree branch would be a good starting wood sharp – drill the center and carve
If wanting to use 1x lumber, start carving from the front, when you run out of wood, to provide a hole for the neckerchief to go thru, carve a U shaped block to mount flush to the front and glue to the back of the buffalo head
