A neckerchief slide that has very little carving, and a lot of tiny lacings, just like a normal snowshoe, only a lot smaller
Completing this one could become tedious but requires patience, I think this one will take a lot more time than a whittled slide, but that might depend on the skill of the person doing the construction of the slide
If you are patient and actually complete this slide, its a nice slide, and would be at least a novel slide, and looks really good and I think the snowshoe represents a core ideal of the boy scout, which is outdoor skills
At this point, Ben Hunt writing as Whittlin Jim has firmly established Whittlin Jim as the creator of the Slide of the Month column, and at this time, I’m not sure everyone knows Whittlin Jim is really Ben Hunt
