Boy’s Life – 1954-04 – Fish Pole Holder – Ben Hunt
A fish pole holder, meant to be used on a boat
But could also be used from a bridge
It needs a support, it would be difficult to use as is without a boat or bridge to mount it on
But it is a great design that should work great and do exactly what it is designed to do
Relatively easy to build, metal work is required, but still should be easy to build and use
W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
