Over the years, Boy’s Life has published a lot of articles on how to setup space for patrol and troop meeting and activities
A lot of these were for patrol meetings and activities
They seemed to emphasize the importance of a space that was utilitarian and a place for the patrols to bond as a patrol
This article provided information on building a ‘trick’ chest of drawers, the drawers were build at an angle so they had to lifted at that angle to remove them
If the drawers were pulled in the traditional manner, they would not open
W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
