Another Neckerchief slide articles from Whittlin Jim, Although no authur is given, the graphics resembles Ben Hunt’s Work

As presented the tomahawk head and pipe bowl are made of brass, but just as easily could be made of wood and painted to resemble metal (black or speckled silver black)

The handle is carved from wood

If wood is used, the type of wood is not that important, unless you use a type of wood that will show marks and dents easily

Same for the pipe bowl

A nice touch for the pipe bowl is to plain the inside black to give the impression of use

W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
