Very nice googles, made as a wood carving and they work by limiting the light that gets to the eyes by covering the eyes and allowing light into the eyes thru slits carved into the wooden googles
should be easy to carve but the general shape will be easier to carve for more experienced carvers and will require some practice by newer carvers
W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
