Braylee Ellen Carr, infant daughter of Lyndsay Hart and Brandin Carr went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2013. She was an angel for our family for a brief time, but she will be in our hearts and memories for a lifetime. Braylee is survived by her maternal grandparents, Stephen and Dana Mahanes; her uncle, Hunter Mahanes, all of Elkins; her great grandparents, Gerold and Lois Matlick; her great uncle, Mike and great aunt Whitney Matlick, all of Parsons; her paternal grandparents, Lake Huffman and Cindy Carr; and her uncle Emanuel Huffman all of Harman. Braylee, a child of God will be at peace with her paternal grandfather, Mike Carr and her maternal great great grandparents, William and Leah Marco. I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the day before that too. I think of you in silence. I often say your name. But all I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part. God has you in His keeping. I have you in my heart. I she tears for what might have been. A million times I’ve cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I would have loved you dearly, in death, I have you still. In my heart you hold a place no one can ever fill.
