OBITUARY: BRENDA LEE CLAYBOURNE Brenda Lee Claybourne, 47, of Morgantown, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness. She was born September 16, 1965, in Philippi, a daughter of Clifford Miner and the late Coleen (Croston) Miner. Her husband, Norman Wayne Claybourne, survives at their home in Morgantown. Also surviving are one brother, Clifford Junior Miner and wife Donna, Philippi; one sister, Patricia Kennedy and husband Teddy, of Philippi, and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Miner and by a niece, Stephanie Helen Coleen Miner. Mrs. Claybourne had worked as a hospital laundress and Certified Nursing Assistant in home health care. She attended the Ford Run Pentecostal Church and enjoyed playing piano. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 30, from the Stemple and Forman Funeral home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Joe Carl Delauder will officiate and interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 7 :00 until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Wednesday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
