Brian Wayne LaFontaine 1962-2022 Obituary
Brian Wayne LaFontaine, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away with his loving wife by his side on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his home.
He was born January 24, 1962, in Akron, OH, a son of Thomas and Lois Campbell LaFontaine both of Buckhannon. On August 18, 2012, he married Constance Heater who survives of Buckhannon.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by one daughter, Briann Sands and husband Dylan of Hodgesville, WV; one brother, Howie LaFontaine and wife Bobby Jo of Grafton, WV; one sister, Tina Tinnel and husband Jeff of Jane Lew, WV; three granddaughters, Briella LaFontaine, Brielynn Sands and Audra Sands all of Hodgesville; two grandsons, Alec and Arthur LaFontaine both of Hodgesville; nephew, Alex LaFontaine and wife Andria of Grafton; two great nephews of Grafton and his cats, Miss Kitty and Buddy.
Member of the Living Word Church of God and was a custodian at the church. He was a Leader at Celebrate Recovery. One of his greatest passions was playing the drums. He was in the band Free Indeed and the Sunday morning worship team. Brian loved hunting, fishing and loved animals. He loved attending his Heavy Metal Christian Concerts. Friends will be received Monday, April 18, 2022, from 11 AM until 1 PM at Living Word Church of God. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 PM at Living Word Church of God with Pastor Frank Spears, Doug Spears and Adam Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
