Mr. Bruce Howell, age 76 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Thursday evening, June 7, 2012 in Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins. He was born March 1, 1936 at Beverly a son of the late William and Rosie Lee Watson Howell. In 1981, he was married to Nancy Scott Howell who survives in Elkins. Also surviving are two sons, Bruce Kenneth Howell and Joseph William Howell, Sr. both of Elkins, five daughters, Deena Mallow, Belington, Patricia Bonnell, Elkins, Karen McDaniels, Coalton, Cindy Cottrell and Jodi Ray and husband Daniel all of Elkins. Four step-sons, James Mallow, Allen Mallow, Jerry Mallow and Anthony Dewayne Mallow, all of Elkins, brothers, Wilie Howell and wife Nancy, Don Howell and wife Joyce, Jim Howell and wife Lisa and John Howell and wife Lana, all of Beverly, sisters, Norma and Blondail Rhorbaugh, Luceba and Delmas Graham of Beverly, Virginia Howell, Beverly and Marie Vangi of Pennsylvania, fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren also survive. Also preceding him in death was his former wife, Theresa A. Howell, brothers, Okey, Burl, Otto, Rich and Tommy Howell, a sister, Rosanna Howell and two grandchildren.

Mr. Howell was employed by Grafco Manufacturing in New Jersey and attended Tygart Valley Ministries Church at Beverly.

Friends may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 11th from the funeral home chapel. Pastor Curlie Ray, Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Caplinger Cemetery near Beverly. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Bruce Howell.
