Building a Heathkit CR-1 Crystal Radio from the Original Manual
After I got interested in Crystal Receivers, I found a manual for a Heathkit CR-1 Crystal Radio, and I knew I had to build it, It is a fairly basic crystal radio, but it does use a slightly different circuits than my previous build, so it was work the effort and a good experiment
Continuing my experiments with crystal radios, this is a kit produced by Heathkit, so it’s different type of radio than the magazine plans I’ve been doing.
It is a simple radio, adding tapped coils and an antenna switch to the basic crystal radio, I plan to make a wood box and try to replicate the general design of the case
