Calvin Daws Williams, 87 of Webster Springs passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. 

He was born August 13, 1924 in Diana to Clay Dale and Laura Mollohan Williams and worked in the lumber yard and saw mills of Pardee & Curtin and Jim C. Hamer. 

He was a United States Army Veteran serving in WWII and a member and Former Commander of the Honor Guard Addison-McLaughlin VFW Post 3738. 

He enjoyed woodworking and fishing and attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Calvin is survived by his wife Cleo Bell Garvin Williams of Webster Springs and sister Valda Ruth Ward of Craigsville. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Cathy Coontz; sisters Jasephena Linscott, Dora Williams, and Lucelle Williams; half-sister Philips Cutlip; and half-brother Earl Williams.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Elder Keith Hamrick officiating. 

Interment will follow in Holly River Baptist Church Cemetery, Diana.
