Charles T. Kincaid, 80, of Elyria, Ohio, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Elyria United Methodist Village, following a long illness.

Mr. Kincaid was born in Upshur County, a son of the late Bernie and Ora Mae Tolliver Kincaid.

He was married for 50 years to Gertrude Mealey, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen S. and Dave Roseler, Berlin Heights, Ohio, and Mary Lou and Mike Stovicek, Vermillion, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth W. and Joyce Kincaid, Elyria, Ohio, and Davis R. and Pauley Kincaid, LaGrange, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Katie and Ryan Roseler, Dana and Mandy Kincaid and Kyra and Sydney Stovicek.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Thomas Kincaid in 1971; and a brother, Joseph Ercel Kincaid.

Mr. Kincaid was employed by Columbia Gas for 31 years. He was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Elyria, Ohio.

Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Robert M. Vincent Funeral Home in French Creek today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. David Jessie officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Cave Cemetery. Full military graveside rites will be held by the American Legion Post 7 and VFW Post 3663 of Buckhannon.
