Cosbie Rebecca Crawford Fisher, 73, of Kanawha Head, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.

She was born Dec. 19, 1929, at Kanawha Head in Upshur County, the daughter of the late Loy Atkinson and Opal Maxine Helmick Crawford.

She was united in marriage on March 22, 1947, to James Glen Fisher, who survives.

She is also survived by four sons, Ernest Glen Fisher of Philippi, James Edward Fisher and wife, Patty, of Buckhannon, Thomas Mark Fisher and wife, Sis, of Arlington, and Randall Lee Fisher of Buckhannon; and three daughters, Zelda Ruth Hawkins and husband, Robert, of Buckhannon, Jewel Lynn Fisher, at home, and Nancy Kay White and husband, Stan, of Buckhannon.

Thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren also survive.

Surviving are three brothers, the Rev. Russell French Crawford and wife, Diane, of Parkersburg, the Rev. Johnnie Crawford and wife, MaryLee, of Elyria, Ohio, and Kenneth Crawford and wife, Glennia, of Kanawha Head; one sister, Lorma Kay Rumph and husband, Eddie, of Grafton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Escar Crawford; and two sisters, Lydia Holbrook and Ruth Fleming.

Mrs. Fisher was a retired janitorial aide with the Upshur County Board of Education and was a homemaker.

She attended the Good Hope Tabernacle Church.

Friends will be received at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery at Kanawha Head. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements for Cosbie Rebecca Crawford Fisher
