Mrs. Creta Rader Louk, 91, a resident of New Era Village near Belington, departed this life at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, in Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.

She was born April 14, 1916, at Mill Creek, a daughter of the late Glenn and Deborah Cutright Rader.

On Oct. 27, 1941, in Maryland, she was united in marriage to Howard Louk, who survives at their home in Belington. They had celebrated 66 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Louk is survived by three sons, Laco Rader and wife, Lanora, Demoine Louk and wife, Jill, and Lunydol Louk and wife, Patricia; and one daughter, Laniece Hood and husband, Dale. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed as a staff helper at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio, from which she had retired. She was a member of Faithway Baptist Church near Belington.

Friends will be received at Talbott Funeral Home in Belington today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday until 11 a.m., the funeral hour, when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Downing Gregory officiating.

Interment will follow in Fraternal Cemetery near Belington. Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Creta Louk. Condolences may be expressed to the family at talbottfuneralhome.com.  From 15 Nov 2007.
