Denver Ray Harris, born Nov. 22, 1942, passed away on Dec. 23, 2020, with his children by his side.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Linda Hammond Harris; father, Gene Harris; and mother, Hazel Mae Harris.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Paulette Rohrman and husband, Bill, of Baltimore, Maryland; son, Denver Paul Harris and wife, Tammy Harris, of Volga; son. Dwayne Harris and wife, Chris Harris, of Whiteford, Maryland; daughter, Brittany Harris; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren which was his joy in life along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

He is also survived by his sisters, Brenda Wamsley, Mary Jo Mackey and Ellen Kay Davis; and brothers, Willard Harris, Gary Harris and James Harris.

He is also survived by his friend, Julie Anderson.

On May 2, 1964, Ray married Linda Hammond, who was the love of his life. He grew up in Mill Creek, where he loved to deer hunt with his brothers and sons. He was Pentecostal by faith.

Wright funeral home of Philippi will be handling the cremation. There will be no services at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers. Ray will be missed by all that knew him.
