Donald Thomas Goss, 61, of Hambleton, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2003, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 11, 1941, in Parsons, a son of Christine Maxine Repair Goss, who survives, and the late John Francis Goss.

Also surviving are his very loving family and wife of 39 years and 11 months, Saundra Kay Syrian Goss; three sons, Donald T.C. Goss II of Roanoke, Va., Michael J. Goss of Thomas, and Shawn P. and wife, Candice Goss, of Fredericksburg, Va.; niece, Amie Lewis of Parsons; one brother, John Goss of Parsons; two sisters, Carol Thomas and Linda Gray, both of Parsons; four grandchildren, Simone Larzelere, Jordan Goss, Alexander Goss and Victoria Goss; two special grandchildren, Sharee Thomas and Mikhail Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Goss was employed as a postmaster for Aurora. He was a member of the NALC. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and a former member of Alpine Festival Inc. and Parsons Kiwanis Club.

Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Parsons at 11 a.m. with Father Robert Perriello as celebrant. At the request of the deceased his remains will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Syrian Fund in care of Tucker Community Endowment Foundation, PO Box 491, Parsons, W.Va. 26287. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
