Edward Gerard Cheuvront, 43, a resident of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., since March of 2002, departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, in Arizona.

He was born on Aug. 2, 1959, at Rodchester, Pa., a son of Charles Cheuvront and Bernice Suttelle Cheuvront, who survives at Jimtown.

He was married to the former Terrina Gray, who survives at Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Also surviving are two sons, Dustin Cheuvront, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Jacob Cheuvront, Astoria, Ore.; one daughter, Charlie Ann Cheuvront, WestLinn, Ore.; two sisters, Linda Chiacco, Warrenton, Ore., and Debra Cheuvront-Kelley and husband, Daniel Kelley, Astoria, Ore.; one grandson, Corey Cheuvront, WestLinn, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.

He moved with his family, as a small child, to Santa Clara, Calif., and later to Knappa, Ore., where he graduated from the Knappa High School in 1977. He worked for the Crown Zellerbach paper mill, later to be known as Georgia Pacific, for 25 years before retiring due to health problems. After his retirement from Georgia Pacific, he worked as the property manager of the Parkview Apartments in Warrenton, Ore.

He enjoyed his coin and baseball collections as well as his ongoing pursuit of antiques through garage sales and flea markets. His most cherished past time was always the enjoyment of his family, which includes his beloved pet bulldogs, Chumley and Stella.

Friends will be received at Letz-Fraze Chapel at Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A prayer service will be held Thursday evening from the funeral home chapel at 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel Friday at 11 a.m. with Father Jorge Gonzalez officiating.

Interment will follow at Saint Vincent Cemetery at Kingsville.
