Evelyn Amanda Credal Harper, age 63, a resident of Hendricks passed from this life Friday morning, December 3, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Sunday, June 15, 1947 at Parsons, a daughter of the late Alonzo Credal and Amanda Flynn Credal. On September 4, 1964 at Hendricks, she was married to Junior “Junie” Harper, who survives. She attended the schools of Tucker County , was the co-owner / operator of Harper’s Garage, and was a homemaker. She had attended the Sycamore Grove Church and was a protestant by faith. Left to cherish her memory besides her husband of 46 years are four sons; Thomas J. Harper and wife, Michelle, Harold R. Harper, Sr. and wife, Kimberly, all of Parsons, Greg A. Harper and wife, Alicia of Elkins, and Adam S. Harper and companion, Sarah Griffith, Hendricks, one brother; Alonzo “Lonnie” Credal of Parsons, and twelve grandchildren; Whitney, Trista, Nicole, Emily, Charlene, Chelsea, Harold Jr., Travis, Amanda, Quinlynn, Bryson, and Savannah and a special granddog, Agro. She was preceded in death by two sisters; Virginia Todd Carr and Irene Givens. Visitation will be on Monday from 5PM until 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11AM with the Rev. Pat Cassidy officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman. Contributions may be made to Hospice Care Corporation, 301 1st Street, Parsons, WV 26287 in memory of Evelyn.
