Fred Wolford, 76, a resident of Dryfork, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at the home of his daughter, Mildred, and son-in-law, Cleve Bonner.

Born May 26, 1926, in Harman, he was the son of the late Branson Wolford and Margie Day.

On February 25, 1948, he was united in marriage to the former Mae Rea Lambert, who preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cleve “Mildred” Bonner of Dryfork and Sandra Pelley and companion, Robert Blendict, of Scio, Ohio; one son, Keith Wolford of Springfield, Ohio; two half brothers, Jim Wolford of Harman and Bill Leggett and wife, Cheryl, of Knoxville, Ohio; and three half sisters, Betty Latiner of Mineral City, Ohio, Eva Stinger of North Canton, Ohio, and Marie Gothe of Akron, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents and wife were one son, Richard Wolford, and several half brothers and half sisters.

Fred was a stationary engineer, and was a Protestant by faith.

Friends will be received at the Koch Funeral home in Scio, Ohio, on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be held at the Perrysville Cemetery in Perrysville at 11 a.m. The Rev. Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will follow.
