Freddie C. Hedrick 1955-2002

Freddie C. Hedrick, 46, a resident of Gilman, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 9, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Buckhannon.

He was born Aug. 31, 1955, in Elkins, a son of the late Arthur St. Clair and Lucy Bennett Hedrick.

On April 2, 1900, he was married to Rebecca Long Hedrick, who survives at Gilman.

Also surviving are one daughter, Regina Ruby Hedrick, at home; three brothers, Kermit Hedrick and wife, Phyllis, Painesville, Ohio, Arthur Hedrick and Carol, of Elkins, and Warren Hedrick and Judy, of Remington, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Gene (Audrey) Arbogast of Springfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Walter (Martha) McGee of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hedrick was disabled and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Friends may call from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. On Saturday morning, he will be moved to Abundant Life Church at Beverly, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Pastor Curlie Ray Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in Laurel Hills Cemetery near Whitmer.
