Gary Dale Cunningham, 60, a resident of Beverly, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, June 26, 2014, in Moorefield. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected. Gary was born, Thursday, September 24, 1953 in Elkins, a son of the late Floyd Dale Cunningham and Virginia Lucille Teter Cunningham who survives in East Dailey. Also left to cherish Gary’s memory is one son: Timothy W. Cunningham and wife Sarah of Dailey, one sister, Diana Boyles and husband Sam of Buckhannon, two granddaughters, Haley and Leslie Cunningham, one nephew, Seth Boyles and Patty Martinez, one niece, Lisa Deatherage and husband Hank, one great niece, Lauren and three great nephews, Colby, Corey and Logan. Preceding Gary in death besides his father was one sister Karen Elizabeth Cunningham. Gary attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School. Gary is best known as a lifelong farmer, having worked the farm at the Huttonsville Correctional Center and then more recently he was employed at Lovers Lane Farms in Moorefield. He was also a logger for Poe Run Logging, and had been employed at Colonial Millworks and Bruce Hardwood. Gary enjoyed hunting but the pride of his life were his two granddaughters Haley and Leslie. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, June 30, 2014 from 5P-7P, the funeral hour. Gary’s request for cremation will then be honored. Reverend Roger Foster will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Mountain State Memorial Gardens.
