George W. Groghan, 75 of Aurora, CO, died Aug. 14.

Born July 21, 1926 in Galloway, WV, he is survived by his wife, the former Donna J. Orr whom he married july 14, 1948 in Oakland, MD.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Brenda) Betz of Denver and Mrs. Randy (Amy Chenevert of Hurley, MS; ason Jeffery (and Cindy) Groghan of Aurora; two sisters, Mary Menear and Alice Morrell of Houston, TX; a brother, Frank Groghan of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, George Allan Groghan.

Mr. Groghan served in the US Navy during World War II and was a member of VFW Post 03631 and American Legion Post 0211.

He was a computer/instrument technician.

Mr. Groghan was a graduate of University High School, was a long-time resident of Morgantown, and had been employed at Allied chemical in Moundsville, and Foxboro of Charleston.

Services were held Aug. 20 at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, Aurora, Co. Interment followed at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
