Georgia Poling, age 65, of Delta passed away early Thursday December 13, 2012 at the Fulton Manor Nursing Home in Wauseon. She had been involved with the Quadco Rehabilitation Center in Stryker with their Janitorial and Food Service programs and had worked at several jobs in the area including McDonaldÂ’s and the Turnpike Plaza. Mrs. Poling was born in Moatsville, on December 7, 1947 the daughter of the late Wilbert Lee and Geneva Marie (McCauley) Poling. She married Ganor Baker, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Poling had been a resident of Delta for 32 years. She was also involved with the Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities in their supported living program. She is survived by siblings; Garris Poling and Scotty Poling of Gore, VA, Johnny Poling of Union City, Ohio, Lefa Smith of Clearfield, KY, Lula McNeil and Robrt Kaposy of Swanton, Ohio. Preceding her in death besides her husband and parents were sisters; Helen Martino and Anna Kathleen Lipscomb. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 19, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 South Main Street, Philippi. Pastor Bryan Headley will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., the funeral hour, on Wednesday.
