Gerald Delbert Jerry Haden 1957-2002

Gerald Delbert “Jerry” Haden, 45, a resident of Mill Creek, passed away in Davis Memorial Hospital emergency room, Wednesday, July 24, 2002. He had been in his usual health and death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born July 3, 1957, at Elkins, a son of Geraldine Coffman Haden Mulhanes, who survives in Indiana, and the late William “Dick” Haden.

He was formerly married to Ann Gear, who survives in Mill Creek.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his stepmother, Kathryn Haden of Mill Creek; two daughters, Susan K. McCauley and Kathy L. Haden, both of Moorefield; two sons, Gerald Haden Jr. of Indiana, and Billy Ray Haden of Moorefield; two sisters, Pat Davis of Mill Creek, and Juanita Davis of Indiana; one stepsister, Wanda Snelson of Ohio; two brothers, Marvin “Cookie” Haden and Ricky Haden Sr. and wife, Juanita, both of Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, William B. Haden.

He was disabled. He attended Tygarts Valley High School and had served with the U.S. Army.

The casket will remain closed. Graveside services will be held Saturday at Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville at 11 a.m. The Rev. Frank Long, pastor of the Mill Creek Memorial Mission Church, will officiate. Interment will follow. The F.E. Runner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
