Hallie Bee Rutherford Sharp, 57, loving wife of Harmon Arnold Sharp for thirty-nine years of Valley Head, went to be with the Lord, our Savior Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Hallie was born Monday, March 17, 1958 in Elkins a daughter of Wayne Rutherford and Emma Miller Rutherford. She is survived by three daughters, Shelly Dawn Currence and fiancé, David Brenwalt of Elkins, Celia Iona Morgan and husband, Paul of Dry Branch, Brittany Jane Sharp and fiancé, Justin Skidmore who lived at home and cared for her three granddaughters, Autumn Rachelle Currence, Hallie Bee Morgan, and Genevieve Elsie Morgan. She is also survived by seven sisters, Thelma Waybright and husband, Danny of Whitmer, Margaret Lindsay and husband, John of Mill Creek, Emma Myers, Patty Arbogast, and Brenda Rutherford, all of Point Mountain, Wanita Wheller of Zanesville, OH, and Garnetta Louk of Philippi, two brothers, Warren Rutherford and wife, Elvie of Jimtown and Glenn Rutherford and wife, Bonita of Elkins, several nieces and nephews, several dear friends, Marshall and Nancy Williams, Janet Sharp, Janet Swecker, Virginia Loudin, Pauline Woods, and Phyllis Sharp, and all the members of the Point Mountain Church and the Valley Head Community. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Denver, Robert, and Hoy Rutherford and one sister, Lila Hinkle. Hallie attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She loved taking care of the elderly and neighbors. A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral home on Sunday from 5PM until 8PM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00AM. Rev. Marshall Williams will officiate and interment will follow in Valley Head Cemetery.
