Harold Lincoln “Punk” Sites, 85 of Archdale, went home to be with his Lord, Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at his home.

Born Aug. 21, 1936, in Whitmer, West Virginia he is a son of the late Fred and Nola Sites.

Mr. Sites owned and ran the Community Store in Whitmer for 30 years. He was a good Christian man and a pillar of his community. Mr. Sites was a very personable man who loved to tell jokes. He was a wonderful husband, father grandfather and a great friend. He attended Crossover Community Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sites was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred “June” Sites Jr. and Jearl Sites.

Mr. Sites is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Hedrick Sites, of the home; and three daughters, Leslie Sites Bryan of Thomasville, Rhonda Sites Love and husband, Darryl, of Archdale, and Becki Sites Smith and husband, Jeff, of Plant City, Florida; eight grandchildren, Alexis Bryan, Christian Bryan, Noah Bryan, Jazmen Hall, Joktan Smith, Joshua Smith, Parker Love and Hartlea Love; and great- grandson, Jase Hall.

He is also survived by one brother, George Nelson and wife, Judy, of Westminister, Maryland; nephew, Wayne Sites of Harrisonburg, Virginia; and niece, Marlene Burkhammer of Jane Lew, West Virginia.

A Celebration of Life Service for Harold Lincoln “Punk” Sites will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Crossover Community Church with Pastor Darryl Love and Jeff Smith officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.
