Hazel A. Campbell 1917-2002 Obituary

Hazel A. Campbell, 85, of 805 Twp. Rd. 1600, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at her residence.

She was born March 15, 1917, in Elkins, a daughter of Arthur and Ada V. Weese Louk.

She moved to Ashland in 1953 from Elkins.

She had been employed at the Ashland Times Gazette as an advertising inserter retiring in 1980.

She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jo Biddinger of Ashland, Ohio, Jeanette and Harry Cutlip of Fairmont, and Betty and Bob Stine of Ashland, Ohio; five sons and two daughters-in-law, Herbert D. and Norma Campbell of Macedonia, Ohio, Jerry R. Campbell, Charles Ernie Campbell, David A. and Doris Campbell and John S. Campbell, all of Ashland, Ohio; nine grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, 10 great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Ocie Collett of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, one sister and one granddaughter, Karolee A. Campbell Bottorff on Feb. 21, 2002.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Denbow-primm-kemery Funeral Home with the Rev. Norm Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio Inc., 1605 Co. Road 1095, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
