Helen Beaver 1921-2002 Obituary

Helen Beaver, 81, a resident of Chenoweth Creek, and a patient in the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center for the past seven years, passed away Tuesday morning, Aug. 27, 2002, in the center.

She was born Feb. 9, 1921, at Julian, a daughter of the late Tom and Myrtle Sisson Turner.

She was married to William E. Beaver, who survives at Chenoweth Creek.

Also surviving are two sons, Daniel C. Beaver of East Berlin, Pa., and William E. Beaver Jr. of Scott Depot; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Larry Dale Beaver; one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Beaver was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elkins.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Elkins Memorial Gardens near Elkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Central West Virginia Chapter Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 4543, Star City, W.Va. 26504-4543 in memory of Mrs. Beaver.
