HELEN LOUISE NELSON Helen Louise Nelson, 87, of Rt. #1, Flemington, died Wednesday afternoon, August 4, in the United Hospital Center, Clarksburg. She was born February 15, 1923, at Flemington, a daughter of the late Howard Leondis and Susan Elizabeth (Corbin) Love. Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert James Hurst and by her second husband, Harry Russell Nelson. Survivors include, one daughter, Mary Madeline Hurst, Philippi; one son, Roger Hurst, Belington; one brother, Carl W. Love, Fairmont; four sisters, Etta lantz and Mary Hicks, both of Philippi, Orvetta Dixon, Kingwood and Shirley Jones, Orlando; by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Wayne Hurst, by a daughter, Linda Lou Lizer; by a grandson, Gary Lee Johns; by one sister, Betty Love Dean; and by four brothers, Manfred Dale Love, Oliver Love, Billy Love and Maynard Love. Mrs. Nelson was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 8, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Selvy Mayle Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Mary’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Saturday and from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Sunday.
