Helen O’Dell Lynch 1918-2002 Obituary

Helen O’Dell Lynch, 83, of Webster Springs, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1918, in Erbacon, a daughter of the late James and Rosa Blankenship O’Dell.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Webster Springs.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Lynch; three brothers, Clarence, Harry and Charles O’Dell; five sisters, Iva Rock, Eulah Walker, Gladys McClung, Clara Blake and Maxine Cunningham; and one grandson, Dana L. Lynch Jr.

She is survived by six sons, C. Danny, Dana L., Frank D. and Ricky D., all of Webster Springs, Jackie J. of Canvas and C. Ray of Elkins; one daughter, Ruth Ann Hamrick of Webster Springs; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen. On Friday she will be moved to First Baptist Church, Webster Springs where friends may call from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Nelson Harris officiating. Interment will be in Miller Cemetery near Webster Springs.
