Howard Edward Andrews 1941-2021 Obituary
Howard Edward Andrews, age 80 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Sunday evening, September 26, 2021 at his home under the care of West Virginia Caring.
He was born April 10, 1941 at Pickens, WV a son of the late Darius Edward Andrews and the late Opal Tunning Andrews.
He was twice married, first to Yvonne E. Smith Andrews who preceded him in death September 18, 2010.
On April 13, 2013 he was married to Deloris F. “Jackie” Andrews who preceded him in death June 27, 2021.
Surviving are his children, David Bryan Andrews, Strongsville, OH; Robin McNamee of West Bloomfield, MI, Patty Rosso of Elyria, OH and Linda Blackburn of West Liberty, KY. Two brothers, Roger Andrews of South Carolina and William Andrews of North Carolina; one sister, Shirley Bowen of Columbus, OH, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Andrews attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed for many years as a Wood Shop Supervisor at Colonial Mill Works prior to his retirement.
Mr. Andrews’s request for cremation will be honored. Interment of the cremains will take place at the Pine Grove Cemetery at Czar, WV at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 122 South High St., Morgantown, WV 26501 in memory of Mr. Andrews.
