Isaac Judy 1916-2001 Obituary
Isaac Paul Judy, 85, of St. Albans and formerly of Laneville, died Oct. 14, at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston.
He was born Jan. 14, 1916 in Laneville, a son of the late Jessie and Addie White Judy.
He is survived by his current wife, Ethel Long of St. Albans; a son, Allen Paul Judy of Richmond, VA; a duaghter, Betty Ellen Hyre of St. Albans; a brother Charles N. Judy of Troutville, VA; three grandhcildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Harding Judy, in 1992; a brother and two sisters.
Mr. Judy was a Lt. JG for US Navy serving in World War II. He retired from a career as a civil engineer with Union Carbide of South Charleston. He served as a member and elder of the Harman Presbyterian Church and was a member of the VFW Post 05781 at Harman.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home, Davis, where services will be held today, Oct. 17, at 1 pm at Hinkle Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Karen Willis officiating. Interment will follow in the Flanagan Memorial Cemetery, Laneville.
