Jean Daniels Campbell 1929-2002 Obituary

Jean Daniels Campbell, 73, a resident of Akron, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, in Akron City Hospital.

She was born March 29, 1929, at Beverly, the daughter of the late R.W. “Bud” Daniels and the late Cleona Mae Butcher Daniels.

She was married to Waldo “Walt” Campbell, who survives in Akron.

Also surviving are one son, Joseph Michael Keller, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two stepsons, Thomas Campbell, Denver, Colo., and Bruce Campbell, California; four stepdaughters, Sister Bonnie Campbell, Louisiana, Marsha of Grand Forks, N.D., and Kathy and Becky of Akron, Ohio; three brothers, F.W. “Bud” Daniels, Akron, Ohio, Harry Daniels and Carl Daniels, both of Beverly; three sisters, Pauline Edwards, Akron, Ohio, Dora Newlon, Elkins, and Connie Pingley, Beverly; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Casandra; five stepgrandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were three brothers, Dempsey, Coy and Ralph “Smokie” Daniels.

Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and a member of St. Mathews Church in Akron, Ohio.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at the Tomblyn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens.
