Jerry Lee Louk, age 69, a former resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Thursday, January 12, at the home of his sister, Juanita Taylor, in Churchville, VA, where he had resided for the past three months. He had been in declining health and his death was attributed to cancer. Mr. Louk was born Sunday February 15, 1942, in Wheeling, WV, the son of Forrest Louk and Roxie Leighann Pudder Louk. Left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his children, Jerry Louk, Jr. of New Jersey, Eddie Taylor, Casey Louk, and Nicole Taylor, all of Mill Creek. Also surviving are six sisters, Janet White and Juanita Taylor, of Churchville VA, Judy Tolliver of Chilhowie,VA, Jacquline Gear of West Augusta, VA, Janice Springfield of Mill Creek, and Josephine Snyder of Huttonsville; four brothers, Joseph Louk, Churchville, VA, Jerl Louk, Maurertown, VA, Jeffrey Louk, West Augusta, VA, and John Louk, Huttonsville, four grandchildren, Jamie Simmons, Iesha Taylor, Timmy Taylor, Jr., and Isaiah Taylor; and a close friend, Debbie Taylor. Besides his parents, Mr. Louk was preceded in death by two sisters, Janeva Cogar and Jennev Butler. Mr. Louk was self employed as a siding hanger for many years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and playing dice. He loved his grandchildren and his family. Visitation for Mr. Louk will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon, the funeral hour. Pastor Jon Tanner will officiate. Interment will follow at the Brick Church Cemetery, Huttonsville.
