Joey Olley Currence 1955-2021 Obituary
Joey Olley Currence, 66, passed on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren.
He was born Feb. 21, 1955, in Mill Creek, W.Va., the son of Olley and Lora Harron Currence.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. Joey will be remembered by family and friends as a loving man.
Treasured memories of Joey will be carried on by his children, James (Annabel) Currence, Barbara Currence and Ellie (Michael) Strausbaugh; his longtime girlfriend, Nancy Collier; his grandchildren, Ashley Currence, Michael L. Strausbaugh, Laura Huskin, Autumn Currence, Deon Currence and Tamia Cunningham; his great-grandchildren, Brayden and Brodie Ramsell; and his siblings, James (Marlene) Currence, Michael (Joanne) Currence, Luevenia Roupe, John Currence and Lorena Escue.
Preceding Joey in death were his parents; his brother, Tommy Currence; and his sister, Pauline Davison.
A family service will be held at a later time. His final resting place will be in West Virginia.
