John W. Bailey 1918-2003 Obituary
John Wendel Bailey, 85, a resident of Route 2, Box 302, Buckhannon, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1918, in Tallmansville, the son of the late John A. and Martha Byrd Bailey.
His wife, Clara Miller Bailey, preceded him in death.
Surviving are one sister, Tillie Quick of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bailey worked as a coal miner.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. No funeral services will be held. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery.
