Jrenda L. Liller 1949-2002 Obituary

Brenda Lee Liller, 53, formerly of Parsons, and of St. Marys for the past three and a half years, died Sunday evening, Feb. 24, 2002, at her home.

Mrs. Liller was born Feb. 20, 1949, in Parsons, a daughter of James W. “Butch” Long Sr., who survives in Parsons, and the late Stanis Baer Long.

On April 13, 1985, in Parsons, she married Robert C. “Pete” Liller, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, David K. “Tink” Greenlief Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Parsons; two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Tamara Lyn) Greenlief Michael, Parsons, and Krista Dana’ Liller, St. Marys; a brother, James W. “Butch” Long Jr., Parsons; and two grandchildren, Alexa Lee Greenlief and James Payden Michael, both of Parsons.

Mrs. Liller was a 1967 graduate of Parsons High School and attended Davis & Elkins College. She was a homemaker. She attended St. Mary’s Church of the Nazarene and was a Protestant by faith.

Funeral Arrangements: Friends may call at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Parsons Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. At Mrs. Liller’s request, her casket will remain closed. Funeral services will be at the church Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chuck Rogers and Kay Larson officiating. Interment will follow in Parsons City Cemetery. Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements.
