Juanita June George Kyle, age 85, of Elkins, W.V. passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Mon Health Medical Center.

She was born in Belington, WV on March 4, 1935 to the late James George, Sr. and Maggie Fitzwater George.

She was a graduate of Belington High School with the class of 1953.

On December 24, 1954, she married Franklin Randolph “Randy” Kyle in Elkins at the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, she is survived by daughter Gail Shaffer (David) of Elkins and Paula Leonard (David) of Eldersburg, Maryland. Four grandchildren survive Ben Shaffer (Lisa), Adam Shaffer (Jessica) all of Elkins and Sara and Kyle Leonard of Eldersburg, Maryland, one great granddaughter Norah Shaffer and one sister Lorena Sinsel of Elkins.

Preceding her in death are four brothers, Robert “Billy” George, Charles “Bus” George, Joseph “Buck” George, James George, Jr., sisters Betty Everson and infant Mary Ann George.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to be outside working in her flowers and enjoyed reading.

She was a member of the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church as well as the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Women of the Church Circle 6. To insure the safety of family and friends during the pandemic, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman. Rev. Dr. Peter Vial will officiate and interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, Women of the Church, 450 Randolph Ave, Elkins, WV 26241 in memory of Mrs. Kyle. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Juanita June George Kyle.
