Juanita Leary 1931-2002 Obituary

Juanita Leary, 70, of Pasadena, Md., for the past 52 years, died Friday, March 8, 2002, in North Arundel Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

She was born May 1, 1931, in Elkins.

She was married for 44 years to Charles Homer Leary, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Charles Thomas Leary and John Michael Leary, both of Pasadena, Md.; four daughters, Elaine Gray, Lori Leary and Pam Leary, all of Pasadena, Md., and Debbie Jefferies, Glen Burnie, Md.; one sister, Barbara Clapp, Pasadena, Md.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women’s Loyal Order of the Moose No. 1176, Stoney Creek Democratic Club, Senior Citizens of the Stoney Creek Democratic Club. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, babysitting and spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral services were held at Kirkley-ruddick Funeral Home Wednesday with the Rev. Robert Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
