Juanita Rose Turner 1941-2002 Obituary

Juanita Rose Turner, 60, of Red Creek, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2002, in United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. Death was attributed to complications from cancer.

Mrs. Turner was born Aug. 21, 1941, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine Boilus Davis.

On Nov. 1, 1958, she married Tommy R. Turner, who survives in Red Creek.

Also surviving are a son, Tommy R. Turner Jr., Elkton, Md.; a daughter, Robin Judy and husband, Greg, Harman; two brothers, Joseph and Gerald Davis, both of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren, Tommy R. Turner III, Melissa R. Judy, Mandy Lynn Turner and Corinne A. Judy; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Bartell, Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Jimmy Davis.

Mrs. Turner was employed for many years as a secretary at Deerfield Village in Canaan Valley. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Davis.

Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Davis Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the church Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Allen Schwartz officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Elkins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Corp., 100 Walnut St., Parsons, W.Va. 26287. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
