Mrs. Judy Ann Koontz Wagner, age 68, a resident of Belington, departed this life early Tuesday morning December 22, 2020 at her residence. She had been declining in health but death was unexpected
She was born August 19, 1952 at Leesburg, VA, a daughter of the late Marshall William and June Glascock Koontz. On June 16, 2009 she was united in marriage to Richard Corbett Wagner, who survives at their home in Belington.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Shannon Hartman and husband Jasper and Heather Sines and companion Lucas Moyers all of West Virginia, two sisters; Mary Preder and Sandy Cook both of Virginia, a brother; Lawson Koontz of Virginia. Additional survivors include six grandchildren.
Judy was a High School graduate and was a homemaker. She loved to paint rocks and read her Bible. She will be greatly and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private family visitation will be at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Saturday December 26, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Downing Gregory officiating. A private interment will follow in the Wagner Cemetery near Belington. Due to the Governor’s recent order face coverings are required and social distancing is recommended while paying your respects in the funeral home.
