Junior Lee “June” McGee, 66, a resident of Valley Bend, passed from this life Monday, March 16, 2015 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Elkins.
June was born Saturday, January 29, 1949 in Beverly, a son of the late Michael Oliver McGee and Orpha Cleo Martin McGee.
June had never married. Left to cherish June’s memory are four siblings, Leona McElwain and husband Charles of Kerens, Michael McGee and wife Donna of NY, Jim McGee and companion Darlene and Jerry McGee and wife Carolyn, all of Valley Bend and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding June in death besides his parents were two brother, Ercil Martin and Gary McGee and one great niece, Skyler McGee.
June attended the schools of Randolph County and had been employed at Tygart Valley Block Company and Wamsley’s farm.
June enjoyed hunting, gardening and loved to keep an immaculate yard. He loved to spend time with and spoil children.
June never had a bad word to say about anyone and will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, March 20, 2015 from 11AM until Noon, the funeral hour.
