Junior M. Harris 1939-2021 Obituary
Junior Morgan Harris, 82, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Sunday, November 7, 2021, at home surrounded by family and under the care of West Virginia Caring.
Junior was born Tuesday, July 18, 1939, in Montrose, a son of the late Frank Harris and Ruth Bender Harris. On February 21, 1991, he married the former Geraldine Rosa Channell who survives at home.
Also left to cherish his memory are six children, Barbara Fusselman and husband Bill of Williamstown, Wayne Harris of OH, Pamela Fansler of Weston, Barbara Swecker and husband Patrick of Dailey, Carolyn Lindsay of Elkins, Eugene Lindsay and wife Laura of Mill Creek, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and two siblings, Arden Harris and wife Karen of OH, and Dortha Barb of Elkins.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was one brother, James Harris, and two infant brothers.
Junior attended the schools of Upshur County. He was the owner and operator of Ability Roofing in Elkins and Harris Home Repair. Junior adored his family and was a good man. He was Pentecostal by faith and a member of Gospel Light Tabernacle in Elkins.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Friday, November 12, 2021, from 11 AM until 1 PM, the funeral hour. Pastor A.H. Belt will officiate and interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens in Gilman.
