Karen Isner Karen Isner, 72, of Rt. #2, Belington, died Saturday, August 24, 2013, in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness. She was born February 2, 1941, in Philippi, a daughter of the late Thomas George and Avis (Harris) Corley. On March 11, 1960, she was united in marriage to Elwood James “Jim” Isner, who survives at their home. Also surviving is one daughter, Carolyn Ann Sandy and husband James, Belington; grandchildren, David Sandy, Tyler Sandy, Kelton Miller, Keagan Miller and twin grandchildren expected in February 2014; one sister, Shirley Wilson, Belington; one brother, Ronald Corley and wife Linda, Belington. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lynn Corley. Mrs. Isner was a graduate of Belington High School. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 28, from the Stemple and Forman Funeral home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. James E. Johnson will officiate and interment will follow in the Belington Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 2:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., the funeral hour, on Wednesday. The Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
