KENNETH ORVAL HOGUE, JR., age 64 years, a resident of the East Dailey community went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at his home with his family by his side, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Saturday, November 10, 1945 at his parent’s home at East Dailey, a son of the late Kenneth Orval Hogue, Sr., and Cleva Ione Rudd Hogue. On July 25, 1964 at Mill Creek, WV he was married to the former Arlene M. Rosencrance, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Denise Scott and husband Elmer, Charlottesville, VA; Tina Cutright and companion Robert Brownie Hoffman, Valley Bend; three grandchildren, Sara and Jonathan Scott, both of Charlottesville, VA; Devin Cutright, Valley Bend; one sister Carolyn Shockey and husband Bob, Dailey; three nieces; three nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
He attended the schools of Randolph County, was an avid member of the Tygart’s Valley Fire Department at East Dailey and was a member of the Valley Unit Emergency Squad for fifteen years. He loved restoring cars.
