LINDA CAROL VANREENEN MCCOLLAM, age 59 years, a resident of Elkins, WV and more recently of Belington, WV departed this life Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Hospice Care Inpatient Center. Death was attributed to cancer.
She was born Friday, September 1, 1950 at Marlinton, WV a daughter of the late Walter David VanReenen. Surviving are her parents, Barry & Jane Baker, MD; very special companion, Dave “Dan” Davis, Belington; one daughter, Amanda Jane McCollam, NY; three brothers, Larry VanReenen and wife Jackie, UT; Daniel VanReenen and wife Marie, MD; and Timothy Stone and wife Karen, MD.
She was a graduate of Parkville High School, had worked for Colonial Place and AGIS, enjoyed going to yard sales and was also working on writing her second book.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 PM, Monday. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home chapel, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11 AM. Pastor David M. Collins will officiate and interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery at Elkins, WV.
