Linda Mae Louk Mahoney, 69, a resident of Mill Creek passed from this life Sunday morning, November 13, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She had been in declining health for several years. She was born Wednesday, January 7, 1942 at Dailey, a daughter of the late Ralph M. Louk and Irene E. Cutright Louk. On September 21, 1972 in Elkins, she was married to Jack Owen Mahoney, who survives. Others left to cherish Linda’s memory is one daughter, Crystal Mahoney and one son, Jackie Mahoney and wife, Kathleen all of Mill Creek, one step daughter, Peggy Louk of Winchester, VA, one step son, Tommy Mahoney of Reedsville, one sister, Carlotta Louk of Mill Creek, three brothers, Ralph Louk of Mill Creek, Randall Louk and wife, Joyce of St. George, and Ronald Louk of Mill Creek, six grandchildren, Gary Louk, Tonya Louk, Michael Currence, Brandon Mahoney, Breanna Mahoney, and Karissa Springfield, and seven great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was an infant brother. She attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed working with ceramics, painting, working crossword puzzles cheering on her husband’s little league teams, and cooking for them. She was a Methodist by faith. Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Wednesday from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 1PM. The Reverend William McCallister will officiate and interment will follow at Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Airport Road, Elkins.
