LLOYD FAYE MARKS Lloyd Faye Marks, 65, of Galloway Community, died Thursday morning, April 12, in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, following an extended illness. He was born on December 23, 1946, at Philippi, a son of the late Harry and Anna Marie (Edwards) Marks. Surviving are one daughter, Faith Ann Kittle and husband, Gregory, Simpson Community; two granddaughters, Amber Dawn Marks, Flemington, Allen Joseph “A.J.” Kittle, Simpson; one great granddaughter, Amara Leeann McDaniel, Flemington; four sisters, Anna Lyvonne (Frank) Cunningham and Mary Frances (Ed) Flowers, all of Bridgeport, Judy Paulette Miller and Carolyn Louise Marks, both of Shinnston; four brothers, Harry Delmas (Mary) Marks, Buckhannon, Rickie Allen Marks, Wallace, Clyde William Marks, West Milford, Timothy Paul (Charlene) Marks, Jane Lew and by his former wife, Carol S. Marks, Simpson. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lee Marks and by a sister, Patty June Marks. Mr. Marks was a former coal miner and coal truck driver and was a former employee of Nuzum Trucking. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was Protestant by faith. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 14, from the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home. The Rev. Patty Post and the Rev. Selvy Mayle Jr. will officiate and interment will follow in the Crislip Cemetery. Friends may call from at the funeral home from 1:00until 9:00 P.M. on Friday and from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. , the funeral hour on Saturday. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
