Mrs. Lois Kaye Kittle Pharis age 60 years a resident of the Talbott Community near Belington, departed this life Friday December 11, 2020 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown. Death was following a period of declining health.
She was born January 22, 1960 a daughter of the late Harold Ray “Jack” and Lillie Bess Ramsey Kittle. On August 26, 1978 she was united marriage to Robert Lynn Pharis who survives at their home near Belington. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Justin Pharis of Belington, two sisters; Sharon Cross and husband Bill of Belington, Debbie White of Oakland, MD, her mother in law Cora Mae Pharis of Belington, and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was a 1978 graduate of the Philip Barbour High School, and received her associate degree in accounting. She attended the Talbott United Methodist Church and was a life time member of the Laurel Mountain Post # 410 Ladies Auxiliary in Belington. Lois was the office Manager of the High-tech Dry Kiln in Belington, was a homemaker, and a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with her family, knitting and crocheting. She was a wonderful lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a private family viewing held at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington on Tuesday December 15, 2020. Cremation will follow and a graveside service will be held at a later date in the Trinity Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA. 22116-7023.
